sorry to here that hope she gets well soon, me and my lad are after some tips because we've had three blanks over the last two weeks, one at Baltic and two down the basin on the feeder.
Baltic is slow at this time of year' a combination of flood water, sea water (on the big tides) and cold weather. Light lines and small hooks are the way to go. Try Duchess lake (£5 on the bank) again scale down everything. Try maggot, caster and worm over bread mash. Feed very little, golf ball size bread mash, size 20 hooks to 1lb line hook lengths 3lb main line. Smallest float you can get away with. Eastville Park lake is free and use the same tactics. Good luck.
