Chesil Beach 25-03-17

Due to personal reasons
I can't late evenings and nights
down Chesil.
I arrived at the chosen spot at 09.00
Jason arriving shortly after.
As I had respolled
both my reels
I did a few practice casts to seat the line.
Baits used were
Squid, Mackerel, Sandeel
frozen  peeler and Hermit crab.
Rigs were 4/0 and live bait Pulleys.
 Jason had 6 Doggies I had 1
plus a Spider crab.
Most of the dogs took straight Squid
I also managed to drop a good fish
bad angling on my part.
The wind was a strong and gusty northeaster,
Chilly start with
wall to wall blue sky all day.
The sea was flat calm
with a few rollers.
It was also crystal clear.
What a cracking day
except
the fish didn't come out to play.
Brilliant company.
