An evening down the Avonmouth tanks
turned out to be rather atmospheric.
I had frozen Lug and Squid wraps
because I couldn't get any fresh bait.
I cast one rod, small baits, about 30 to 50 yards and
a second, big baits, out to about 80 yards.
The worm on the furthest cast baits would be stripped out
very quickly, without me seeing any movements
on the rod tip.
Of the two other anglers,
one blanked
and the other
caught two Flounder.
The weather however
was really something.
