Fished the eastern end of the lake,
nearest to the M32 motorway.
Fished from 8 am till 1 pm.
Only used the pole today with
Maggot, Caster and Sweetcorn as bait.
I fished 8.5mtrs out at the bottom of
the drop off.
The first hour or so was very slow, then
the fish started biting.
Caster just off the bottom picked up the fish
and then double white Maggot was the best.
From around 10.45 the fish really started biting
and it ended up a fish a chuck. White Maggot
really the best, Sweet corn had no takers.
In the end I had between 8 and 10ld of skmmers,
roach and hybrids. First time the hybrids
out scored the skimmers and roach.
They don't haf hang on.
All in all a great 5 hours.
