Managed to use an old piece
of a damaged pole to line
the inside of the damaged handle.
Glued in with Arildite.
Then glued the connecting ferrule
in. Let it dry and bingo
it works.
Proof is in the using.
Fingers crossed.
Hopefully saving £50 plus.
